New Homeowners

New homeowners will need to be sure they have a homestead exemption, and that the value of their home is true and correct. This is done through the Central Appraisal District, 281-344-8623.

At the time of closing on your home, your taxes should be paid or your prorated share paid. You need to be sure that the Central Appraisal District has the property changed into your name for the next year's billing. Failure to receive your tax statement does not relieve you of the responsibility, and if not paid by the due date, penalty and interest will be applied. Let us help to make this process easy on you.

Download the following forms for your reference. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these forms.   You can download the reader free of charge HERE.
